Rational process of gaining knowledge
Gaining knowledge today is like shopping from mall and markets.
"Oh brother "Arong" just awesome .someone may say "Yellow" ."Oh brother see the lecture of this scholar; he is perfect. Another one may say- no that scholar is most perfect". We just accept them cause they explained our thoughts. those thoughts which we got from another lecture and then another lecture. Its going on that and so forth.
It may goes on books also. Everyone is referring their own book which explained their own thoughts. One may say that our scholar said this is right. Some may say our scholar said it wrong on that book.(not denying the undisputed issues)
Point is that we should listen all things from own and another source also .He is not from your group it doesn't mean his all thing is wrong. We should accept what is good.
Another point is going through the original books. I saw different groups explaining a book in different ways on core points. Even in tafsir.
We shouldn't trust someone blindly that if someone said you that - "Imam Abu Hanifa said it like this". We should check this in a proper way. We should check this from early ages scholars book. Who have explained the hanafi basics.
